My OC Boy :)

Last Thursday, Zoe was telling me a story about Zach. It happened earlier that day when she went to the restroom to make poo poo. She told me that when she was inside the restroom, Zach went in. Upon seeing her panty lying on the floor, Zach picked it up and folded it :) I found this story so cute! Zach is really neat and orderly when it comes to his surroundings.

Yesterday, I brought him along to do some groceries. I placed him inside the cart. I keep on getting the stuff that I needed to buy. When I looked inside the cart, I was surprised by what I’ve seen. Zach is at the center and he’s surrounded by the groceries . . . that are stacked properly! :) A real amazing boy! My OC Boy! :)

Christmas Outfits: Check!

Earlier today, we went to SM Sta. Rosa to shop for the kids’ Christmas outfit. We had to do this today because Zoe’s Christmas party is this coming Friday and she needs her outfit for their presentation on Thursday.

I was so amazed at how fast we were able to buy the outfits for my kids. In the past, we had to enter several stores to find something cute, pretty, and not-so-expensive dress. But today, we were able to buy all of our clothes in just thirty minutes (or so, I think). All I know is we’ve been faster this year as compared to the previous years. Now I’ve learned that when you’re buying clothes as a family, it’s better to shop at SM Department Store. Really! (This is not a paid entry, by the way :) )

The theme that we chose this year is purple. Why? I don’t know. I guess it all started with Zoe’s outfit. To be uniform, we decided to go with purple  since this is not a common color in our closet.

We had Karate Kid for lunch (which is quite late). I had fried rice and hubby had Beef teriyaki. I ordered California maki for hubby and me and pasta for Zoe and Zach. The fried rice is okay, and hubby’s food is okay also (I didn’t like it a lot since it’s beef). Zoe liked the California maki. Starting today, we know that we have another person in the family who like this food (meaning, we have to share it with Zoe… oh men! ). Zach didn’t really eat. He asked for milk since he saw that I made one for Zurich. Overall, Karate Kid is a good restaurant. I’ll give it a four out of five.

Then we went to CD-R King to buy a mouse for hubby. At first, he said that we should do it next time due to the long lines that are visible even if you haven’t entered the store yet. But I insisted that we should do it now since we’re there already. After a few minutes on the line, I realized that hubby’s right. But since I’ve started it already, I wanted to finish it. When I’m done, I was so relieved that I was finally able to get out of that store. It’s really an experience to go there. You have to suffer being in a long line, but when you get your stuff, you’ll be so happy.

After buying all the stuffs that we needed, we headed back home. While on the car, Zoe requested for a cup of green tea. I said yes, but when I saw the sky, I got worried and told her that we’ll have it next time. I  was worried that the rain’s about to pour, and since hubby’s a new driver it would be harder for him to drive if the road gets wet. So it got settled that she won’t be having it  today. But as we passed by Pavilion mall, we’re stuck in the slow movement of the vehicles, hubby said that it’s okay if she’ll have her drink. I finally said yes. You know why? I want additional stickers for my 2012 planner…hehe :) Yesterday, we only had two stickers, but today we had five, yey!  :) I hope it’s not too late to get my planner. Hubby asked m e last month if I wanted this new planner. I said no because I thought I won’t need it next year since I’m home-based already. But when I saw the photos of the 2012 planners earlier this week, I suddenly felt that I want one. So now, I’m begging hubby to have coffee with me so I can get my planner. I really hope we’ll complete it asap.

This list basically completes how we spent our Saturday. Tomorrow, I’m supposed to wrap our gifts. Hope I’ll be able to do this task. I think I have to list it in my planner to be visible. I’ve noticed that I get more productive when I list down the things that I have to do (even to the most basic task). Yes, I’ll do that. I definitely will. Hope the kiddos won’t be so attention-seekers tomorrow.

I’m finally done with my Christmas Decorations! Yey! :)

After several minutes of looking where my mom-in-law placed the Christmas decors, I finally found it. So last Sunday, we finally put up and finished (take note) our Christmas decorations! :) At last, we had the time for this. For the past few weeks, we’ve been planning to look for them and put them up, but it seemed as if our schedule was always fully booked. Mine with chores and hubby’s with toy events.

When we went to Divisoria, we found Christmas socks that are nice to look at but not that expensive. What I did was to add some silver decorations to put the three babies’ names on them… and charan! I’ve got simple yet pretty Christmas socks! I’ve realized that you don’t really have spend too much during Christmas season. Simple and beautiful yet cheap stuffs are up to do the job!

Cars 2!

Yesterday we watched the long-awaited movie of the year (next to Transformers 3)….drum roll please… chanchararan… CARS 2!

My kids were so excited weeks before the actual showing comes. Zach would always say “Cars 2″ in his cutest voice and way of saying it.  I just love it when he mentions those words.

The movie is great. It teaches about accepting other people (in the movie, however, it’s accepting other car) for who they are. We cannot change them, and we don’t have to change them. Talk about unconditional love, huh?

I love the movie, but I love the first one more. Well, I guess that’s always the trend. If you love the first movie, don’t expect that the second one would me much better. Cars 2 is a feel-good movie just like the first Cars movie, but since this is the second one the idea of watching a movie full of cars as the characters is not so new. But don’t get me wrong, the story is also great just like the first one, it’s just that the feeling of being so awed so much is not that great as compared to what I felt after watching the first movie. But Cars 2 will take to different places around the world, and that is a great plus to this movie. Overall, I’d recommend this to everyone.

I’m giving it a rating of 8 out of 10.

It’s the Final Countdown!

It’s the final countdown!

These are the lines that were being sung by first baby and hubby every time I’m rushing to meet the deadline of my editing assignment.

It’s my third week on my new-found job, and I can say that I’m really enjoying it. I’d like this gig to be a regular one. And knowing this, I have to shower my work with more quality. For the past four assignments, I’ve been rushing to finish them on the last day of submission. This shouldn’t be the case. I need to really focus on editing the required number of pages for a day so that I will not feel harassed each time I have to meet the deadline.

Just today, my fourth assignment went back due to so many uncorrected errors, most of them typographical ones. I knew it will go back to me, for I rushed it the other night. I became relaxed on the first few days and rushed on the last day. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish editing it because there are so many grammatical errors and not so good sentence structures.

I promised to myself, “I will work efficiently and with quality from now on.
